On April 16, 2025, President University held a crucial training session on the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) standards at the Charles Himawan Auditorium. Organized by the Directorate of Internal Quality Assurance, the event aimed to prepare deans and study program heads for the upcoming changes in accreditation under the Ministry of Education and Culture Regulation No. 53 of 2023, set to take effect on August 18, 2025. The training focused on ensuring a unified understanding of the revised standards, which include updates on lecturer qualifications, research outputs, and other key academic benchmarks.

The session highlighted the need for all study programs to actively engage with the new accreditation requirements, rather than relying solely on the Internal Quality Assurance team. Dr. Wonny Ahmad Ridwan, S.E., M.M., an SPMI expert from IPB University, served as the keynote speaker, sharing practical insights and best practices for adapting to the updated framework. His presentation underscored the importance of proactive preparation to meet the enhanced quality standards.

By conducting this training, President University reinforces its commitment to maintaining high academic standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The event provided an opportunity for academic leaders to collaborate, ask questions, and develop strategies for a smooth transition to the new accreditation system. This initiative ensures that all programs will be well-prepared to meet the challenges and opportunities presented by the updated regulations. (Rachel V, PR Team. Photo: Roffizul H)
