President University has achieved another important milestone in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2025, securing 736th place globally and 76th nationally, marking an improvement from the previous year. Globally, the university improved its position among 1,745 universities from 105 countries participating in this prestigious sustainability ranking. Nationally, President University also advanced its standing among Indonesian universities committed to sustainable development.
This ranking improvement reflects international recognition of President University’s consistent commitment to developing a sustainable campus through policies, programs, and environmental innovation. In this year’s assessment, President University demonstrated particular strength in Education and Research, highlighted by sustainability integration in education, international collaboration, sustainability reporting, and active engagement of the academic community. Strong performance was also evident in Energy and Climate Change, supported by green building implementation, climate action initiatives, and energy-efficiency innovation. In addition, Transportation emerged as another area of excellence through the university’s environmentally friendly campus mobility initiatives.
This achievement further reinforces President University’s role as an institution committed not only to academic excellence but also to advancing global sustainability solutions. Moving forward, the university will continue strengthening green campus initiatives and sustainability innovations to enhance its contribution and reputation at both national and international levels.
